Q & A

I  asked you guys a couple of weeks ago for some questions I could answer on this Q&A, and I want to thank everyone who responded.

What is a book you would never want to read again?

Some of the books I have had to read in my English class have been pretty bad, but I generally pick what I’ve heard to be good books and read them. So I can’t pick one book I don’t think, I find if I read anything in the contemporary genre I can’t read it again. It’s not that those books are bad it’s just once I finish them I don’t feel compelled to read it again or want a sequel to that particular book. So any contemporary book, I just don’t read again.

What is the longest time it has ever taken you to read a book?

To be completely honest when I finish a really good book sometimes I fall into a reading slump. That slump can mean it’ll take me 2 months to read a book or not even finish a book. So depending on the slump it can take me a long time to read books.

What genre of book do you prefer and enjoy to read most?

Fantasy. I love getting lost in worlds that authors have created. It is awesome to read and know that God has given that author the imagination and skilled thinking to create a whole world and creatures. I also love Historical Fiction Because it’s like time traveling to a place in the past, and living in that time while reading that book.

If you read one book over and over again, what book would you choose?

My favourite book ‘Waterfall’ by Lisa T Bergren definitely. I’ve read it 7 or 8 times. So that would be the obvious choice. ‘Waterfall’ is the first book in the ‘River of Time’ series, that also happens to be my favourite series. This book is  Historical Fiction set in Italy just before the Black Plague. Completely recommend This and These books they are my favourites. ❤️

You can find Lisa T Bergren’s books here.

Read my book review on her book ‘Season of Wonder’ here.

What is your favourite Bible passage and why?

My favourite bible passage is Romans 5:1-11, It’s titled Peace and Hope. I love this passage because it highlights clearly what the gospel is. If anyone asked me what they should look at to learn about the gospel I would say this passage. Verse 8 is a popular verse in this passage and sums up even shorter the gospel; But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. The passage is easy to understand, blunt and truthful, It’s my ‘go to’ passage.

What are your top 4 favourite songs right now?

  • ‘That Green Gentleman’ – Panic! At The Disco
  • ‘Bird’ – Billie Martin
  • ‘What Do I Know’ -Ed Sheeran
  • ‘Lover of the Light’ – Mumford and Sons

I hope you enjoyed this Q&A,

Planner update!

I like to think that I’m creative and God has given me at least a smattering artisticness (pretty sure that isn’t a word but anyway…) so I have decided to do up my planner. If my planner is more inviting to my eye, I believe that I’ll make the most out of it and it will become an escape setting it up weekly. It’s really relaxing so I hope I can inspire you to do something similar. So this is how I do it.Processed with VSCO with g3 preset

  1. I go on to Pinterest and look up an aesthetic, so this week I looked up pastel purple aesthetic as you can see.  ☞
  2. Collect some pictures, print them out.
  3. Position the pictures and stick them in.
  4. Put in things I need to know for the week ahead.
  5. Draw some little pictures (I like drawing simple things like flowers, stars, and dots).
  6. The during the week I will add in little journal things, as well as write in to-do lists for the weekend.*

*Sometimes I’ll also add in some good Bible verses, as it helps me reflect on God’s word every time I look at my planner.

What I wear in Autumn

So with both outfits, jeans or fake, jean tights as I am wearing in the picture, are my go to’s for Autumn and winter. They are just great because they are warm and cover your legs completely. Anyway, for this first outfit, I have my jeans, boots and my coat.

I love this coat so, so much, it is so oversized and it is made from llama wool which means it is so, so warm. The print on the fabric (there are llamas) combined with the so rustic buttons is just adorable.

underneath the coat, I am just wearing a plain long sleeve shirt because the coat already is the star of my outfit

For the second outfit, I just have the jeans again and the long sleeve shirt but then I pop pattern with the blouse. Then to finish it off I am wearing my Sanuks. This outfit is great for the warmer days in Autumn because it’s not too hot and if it’s too cold you can just put a coat on.

The blouse is great in Summer and Spring as well Autumn because you can just wear it on its own as a swimsuit cover up or just with some shorts. I bought this at a market and I recommend if you want something you can wear all year, try and look for something you can layer up or layer down.
